That's sucks Scott. I can toss a better dealer experience into the ring, although it's only
slightly Z related. The wife and I just bought a VW GTI as a daily driver (insert not-so-fast
jokes here). Anyway, we bought it from VW of Pasadena, and they
happen to be mostly Asians working there. So, when it's time to pick up
the GTI, we drive the Z out to get it and I park it in their guest parking
area. Well, I don't know what it was, but you'd have thought I'd pulled up
in a Bugatti or something because the sales staff was magically drawn to
the Z like flies. All the usual comments starting coming, "pop the hood",
"what year is it?", "what mods have you done?", "I used to have a '90",
etc etc etc. Long story a little longer, it was pretty cool that the VW guys showed the
Z so much love.
